One gallon stoneware jug. The jug measures approximately 10 inches by 7 inches. The top is an almost transparent brown glaze while the bottom is a cream colored glaze with a blue stamped label under the glaze that reads "SOLD BY STRIPLING & BURROWS, Drugs, Jewelry and Books, San Augustine, Texas"
This stamp is slightly cockeyed and measures 3 inches by 5.5 inches. There appears to be a small run in the glaze in the top left corner of the label (just to the left of "SOLD BY". There are several minor chips on the rim of the jug and also several chips on the rim that separate the brown top and cream bottom
