Made of the nearly indestructible 7178-T9 alloy (100,000 psi
strength), the XX78® Super Slam® is still the most trusted hunting shaft of
world-class bowhunters. It's not only packed with extreme durability, it's
dead-on accurate. And with 15 sizes, you're guaranteed a perfect match for
your bow setup. Slam uses the well-tested Super UNI system for perfect
nock-to-arrow alignment. The precision-machined UNI Bushings® provide
superior alignment when used with factory-installed Easton Super Nocks®. And
the tough ultrapoly material and double "snap" design of the Super
Nock keeps your arrow on the string under the most severe string angles and
stressful hunting situations.

XX78® Super Slam Select
|
| How do you beat the top-of-the-line XX78 hunting shaft system? Give it an
improved nock system and a hot new camo pattern. The all-new XX78 Super Slam Select eliminates the need for a UNI Bushing by
precision forming the end of the shaft to a parallel section that is then
machined true to the shaft for perfect nock fit. Easton calls it Super Swage
(U.S. pat. # 6017284), and the engineering technology speaks for
itself--lighter weight and increased surface contact between the nock shank and shaft, for extremely
streamlined flight. Just like the original Super Slam, Select is made of the
super-strong 7178-T9 alloy, straight to .0015" and is packed with
relentless power. And an all-new PermaGraphic pattern with forest details
rounds out the reasons to hunt with this new XX78 Select. Select is available
in seven performance hunting sizes and includes RPS inserts and factory
installed Super Nocks.
