Ironically this pack was the first in our series designed for our customers who couldn't shut up about needing to be quiet in the woods. These trouble makers and extremists take hunting? well, to the extreme. Sub-zero temperatures and the roughest terrain on the planet, you name it and they do it. Some of them almost got to the point of belligerence with their taunts and challenges to make a truly soundproof pack. Our current models are by far the quietest on the market, so quite frankly, we were stumped as to how to make our gear even more quiet? but as usual, we were up for the challenge. We started from scratch, throwing all assumptions out the door. What came back in was quite amazing, it really shook our notions of how a pack should be built. Seven years ago we set the Hunting world on its ear with our new concepts of how gear should be carried. Since that time the 2200 has become one of the most popular of those ideas. This fanny pack has remained basically the same since we introduced it in 1996. Hey, don't look at us that way, we couldn't find (and you never suggested) any way to make it better. However, after a few years, we did finally think of a few things to improve? We added our new hip hugging waist belt, better zippers, better pocket layouts, and a stronger Delron frame. Yes, you can still see the Monster's heritage through it's lines, but when you wear it, all you will think about is how good the future looks!

Water is the third most important thing on this planet (right behind oxygen and hunting!) and the best thing we have seen out there for carrying wear is a plastic bottle!? Actually, there is no real problem with carrying your water in a plastic bottle, expect for the accessibility issue.
